Total Knee Arthroplasty

TKA, total knee arthroplasty, has been a reliable and predictable procedure for over 20 years. Over the last five years, technology has improved the procedure with intra-operative computerization. The computer converts a procedure designed for the average patient to one that customizes the procedure for each patient based on his or her own anatomy. Computerized TKA allows the surgeon to be more accurate, which hopefully will translate into longer lasting implants, less complications and faster recovery.
